Obituary for Blanche Klein
Blanche Klein of Westport CT, passed away at her home of 61 years the morning of August 30th at the age of eighty seven. She was born in Mamaroneck, NY to parents Nathan and Augusta Schwartzreich on March 8, 1928 and graduated from Mamaroneck High School before getting married and moving to Westport. Blanche also had two brothers, Sydney and Edward whom have since passed on. She is survived by daughter Carol, son Kenneth, her other daughter Suzzanne who passed away two years ago. She has five grandchildren, Richelle, Kevin, Katherine, Gregory and Merideth. Blanche was a resident of Westport for more than sixty five years and served the community by volunteering at the American Red Cross for over thirty five years. Blanche had a passion for helping people, she worked countless blood drives for the Red Cross and loved working at the Jewish Home for the elderly. A Funeral Service will be held 12:30pm Wednesday at Riversville Cemetery, Memory Lane. Glenville, CT. The family will be sitting Shiva directly after the service at Blanche Klein’s house.
