Obituary for Ita Yudith Schwartz
Yudith Ita (Grad) Schwartz of Armonk New York, died September 13, 2014. She was born to the late Esther and Yoel Grad, of Jerusalem, Israel, where she was born and raised and served in the Israeli army air force. Always enjoying adventure, she moved to New York in her early twenties. In New York she lived in Forest Hills and worked for El Al Airlines and Bank Lumi before moving to Armonk and becoming a real estate agent. She worked in real estate for 30 years, most recently at Houlihan Lawrence specializing in residential, commercial, and land sales. She was a consistent member of the Westchester County Board of Realtors Million Dollar Club and the recipient of Silver, Gold, and Platinum awards. A tireless and self-motivated woman, she also managed real estate in New York City and Westchester County. She was a charitable person and a founding member of the Armonk Chapter of Hadassah, The Womens Zionist Organization of America. Yudith also had a passion and great appreciation of antiques and was a supporter of the art. Yudith is survived by her son Jonathan Schwartz of Armonk NY; and son Aaron (Susan) Schwartz, and two grandchildren, Jessica and Benjamin Schwartz of Pittsburgh PA. Yudiths grandchildren were her greatest joy, and they will miss her dearly. She is also survived by her sister, Elisheva Lowe of New York and her brother, Uri (Malca) grad of Israel.
