Obituary for Jane Ona Harris Josephs
Jane Ona Harris Josephs of New York and Florida passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 12, 2021. She was born December 4, 1944 to the late Louis and Lillian Harris. She grew up in Florida where she enjoyed writing, playing the piano and the school choir.
After marrying she moved to New York where she raised her 3 children. She was very active in the PTA and volunteering in her children's school activities. She loved to entertain and one of her greatest joys was cooking big family meals which always included friends and family at the dinner table.
In her later years after moving back to Florida Jane was an active advocate and volunteer for Hospice of Palm Beach County.
Jane was survived by her children Lois Bethel and son-in-law Tom, Joe Josephs and Frances Josephs.
A memorial service will be arranged for the future. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Sarah Neuman nursing home where she recieved excellent care.
