Lawrence “Larry” Weinstein of Mamaroneck passed away on July 13, 2022. He was 93. Born in New York City on September 15, 1928 to Moe and Ida Weinstein. Lawrence proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He attended NYU and played football for the New York University Violets. He was the proprietor of Larry Weinstein Furs in New York City.
Lawrence was predeceased by his beloved wife Helen Weinstein (nee Feinberg) in April 2020. He is survived by his loving daughters, Lisa Lynds, Ilene Weinstein and Jamie Gironda (Gregory), cherished grandchildren, Spencer, Abby and Elizabeth. He was also predeceased by his dear brothers, Eddie and Jess Weinstein.
A Funeral Service will be held 11am Sunday July 17th at Mt. Eden Cemetery in Hawthorne. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research hospital www.stjude.org For more information or to place an online condolence; www.zionchapel.com
