Leonard F. Martin passed into eternity February 28, 2014. Born Oakland California Dec 3, 1937, only son of Jesse and Stella Martin. Beloved husband of 54 years to Judie. Proud and adoring father to Howard (Leslie) and Laura-Jane. Enthusiastic and involved grandfather of Alexis (Gary) Levitan, Frank (Sarah) Martin, Rebecca, Josh, and Adam Raider. Loving great grandpa to Sydney, Evan, and Reese. Radio amateur KC2KIV member of AARL and WECA. Veteran of the US Army and served on Selective Service Borad. Member of Town of Mamaroneck solar energy commission, former member of Town of Mamaroneck citizens budget committee. Concerned citizen and former Democratic district leader. Len loved his family, golf and the New York Yankees. Winter resident of Indian Shores FL, Member of Bay Mariner Golf League. Services at Zion Memorial Chapel 785 E Boston post Road, Mamaroneck 914-381-1809 Sunday March 2nd at 11am followed by Interment at King David Memorial Gardens, Putnam Valley. Contributions to Westchester Regent of Hadassah, 10 New King St, Suite 202, White Plains NY 10604 or to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Sleepy Hollow, NY 10591.
