Meyer Fecher (DOB 7/25/1930) passed away peacefully at home on August 22, 2020 following a long illness. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Meyer graduated Abraham Lincoln High School. With artistic ability evidenced as early as second grade, Meyer attended Cooper Union and received a BFA from Yale University. He served in the U.S. Army, stationed in Europe, which inspired a love of travel that he shared with his beloved wife of 63 years, Myra Gross Fecher. In addition to Myra, he is survived by daughters Maura (Glenn Carlin) and Karen, four grandsons (Daniel, Andrew, Jack and Benjamin), and brother Ronald. He was predeceased by sister Roslyn. Private burial was August 25.
Donations may be made in his name to Hadassah where he worked for most of his career as Art Director (https://www.hadassah.org) or to Cooper Union which gave him his start in life and to which he was ever so grateful (https://cooper.edu/welcome). May he rest in peace.
